RoboxDual is the latest member of the Robox family of 3D printers and includes the ability to print in 2 materials at once. The best thing about dual material printing is the ability to create parts which were previously difficult or even impossible with a single material printer. By creating a support structure with a material which can peel away from the model easily we can increase the accuracy of overhangs and still remove these supports without damaging the model. You can now quickly and simply prototype designs your desk.
What we like:
We really love this! It's so much more than a 3D pen; it's a Makerspace crammed into a palm sized pen. It allows novices and experienced users alike to draw in 3D, burn designs into leather and wood, solder and cut shapes out of foam.

Who should attend?
Great introductory workshop - lots of hands on time and opportunity to ask questions. Andy and Diane were very helpful and genuinely interested in the applications we have in mind.
Attended the "3D printing - an introduction" workshop. I found it really interesting and informative. It was really useful to see the kit in action and get a chance at driving the equipment. I came away with a lot to think about. I would definitely recommend this workshop if you're totally new to 3D printing and modelling.
Superb insight to the world of 3D printing! Thanks to Andy and Diane for a very enjoyable introduction to 3D printing. I would recommend the course to anyone who is interested.
In addition to our courses, we also attend a number of other events.
